El sujeto comienza a lanzar múltiples ataques dirigidos al abdomen de la víctima, mientras otras personas presentes intentan reaccionar.
Algunos testigos corren para intervenir, incluso uno lanza una piedra en un intento por detener la agresión.
Intento de auxilio y huida
Tras el ataque, el agresor abandona el lugar mientras varios hombres intentan perseguirlo.
La víctima, gravemente herida, logra ponerse de pie durante unos segundos en plena vía pública.
Sin embargo, pocos instantes después cae al suelo, quedando inconsciente frente a los presentes.
Llegada de autoridades
La alerta fue recibida por los servicios de emergencia a las 9:41 de la mañana, según confirmó la Cruz Roja.
Al llegar al sitio, los paramédicos encontraron a un hombre de aproximadamente 25 años sin signos vitales.
El coordinador de la atención, Jorge Matamoros, indicó que la víctima presentaba múltiples heridas causadas por arma blanca.
Investigación en curso
La Fuerza Pública de Costa Rica informó que el sospechoso fue detenido poco después, gracias a la colaboración de vecinos que lo identificaron.
De manera preliminar, las autoridades manejan que el hecho se originó tras una riña entre familiares.
El caso quedó bajo investigación del Organismo de Investigación Judicial, que trabaja para esclarecer todos los detalles y determinar las causas exactas.
